Experience SmartATL is an event showcasing the work of various City departments, academic partners, public sector partners, and companies the City of Atlanta has been working with to implement its vision of a smart city. Through SmartATL with the City’s departments, the City has been making strides in data-driven decision making across various delivery areas including the following:
The event will be comprised of many “experiences” or exhibits to showcase individual projects, products, and initiatives in an interactive way. Participants will leave with an awareness of how Atlanta is developing as a smart city, how partnerships and collaboration are essential, and how they may be able to become more involved in smart city efforts in the future.
There will be two sessions showcasing smart city technology, one in the morning at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and another in the afternoon at 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Both sessions will have the same content, and registering with Eventbrite for only one of the two sessions is required for entry on the day of the event. Space is limited. We look forward to your participation!
